Details: This work explores the haptic textures and sensations associated with digital space in contrast with the physicality of a digital substance like 3D printing. By using 3D prints which were made through a process of additive printing experimentation, A Close Up of an Image Taken of a Sea seeks to notice and draw on the peculiarities of certain base characteristics of digitally printed objects.
